AOAC 2001.03 was approved as a Final Action

AOAC Official Method 2001.03 was approved as a Final Action with the title "Dietary Fiber in Foods Containing Resistant Maltodextrin: High MW RMDE by Method 985.29 (IDF and SDF) and Low MW RMD by LC" in February 2005.

Fibersol-2 got FSANZ approval

In october 2004, Fibersol-2 and its anlaytical method AOAC 2001.03 were approved as a dietary fiber and its official analytical method by FSANZ, Food Standards Australia and New Zealand.

New product, Cellobiose 90

We have established a feasible manufacturing process for D-cellobiose, jointly with Japan Chemical Engineering & Machinery Co., Ltd. and Nippon Paper Chemicals Co., Ltd. Now 90% cellobiose sample from pilot plant is available.



Fibersol-2 obtained an authorization from Belgian government as NOT a NOVEL FOOD.

The Belgian government, a member state of the EU, has authorized that Fibersol-2 would not fall under the scope of regulation 258/97 on Novel Foods. And they also accepted to name it as "resistand dextrin" for labeling purposes.
